The Masai Mara National Reserve fees for 2024 – 2025 are structured into two seasons: January to June and July to December. Additionally, fees vary based on age and residency status.

January – June Masai Mara Park Entrance Fees 2024:

  • Adult non-residents: $100 per person per day
  • Children (non-residents): $50 per person per day
  • Adult East African Residents: 4,500KSH per person per day
  • Children (East African Residents): 2,000KSH per person per day
  • Adult Kenyan citizens: 3,000KSH per person per day
  • Children (Kenyan citizens): 1,000KSH per person per day
  • Adult Narok residents: 2,000KSH per person per day
  • Children (Narok residents, above 10 years): 500KSH per person per day
  • Children (Narok residents, below 10 years): Free

 

July – December Masai Mara Park Entrance Fees 2024:

  • Adult non-residents: $200 per person per day
  • Children non-residents: $50 per person per day
  • Adult East African Residents: 4,500KSH per person per day
  • Children (East African Residents): 2,000KSH per person per day
  • Adult Kenyan citizens: 3,000KSH per person per day
  • Children (Kenyan citizens): 1,000KSH per person per day
  • Adult Narok residents: 2,000KSH per person per day
  • Children (Narok residents, above 10 years): 500KSH per person per day
  • Children (Narok residents, below 10 years): Free

Vehicle Entry Fees:

 

  • Vehicles with less than 6 seats: 500KSH per day
  • Vehicles with 6 – 12 seats: 1,000KSH per day
  • Vehicles with 12-24 seats: 3,000KSH per day
  • Vehicles with 25-44 seats: 4,000KSH per day

Balloon Services Fees:

  • Annual balloon Safari operational permits: 300,000KSH
  • Single Landing fees (Adult): $80 per person
  • Single Landing fees (Child): $35 per person

Park Rules and Regulations:

  • Adhere to speed limits: 50km/h on graded roads and 30km/h on other roads.
  • Respect wildlife: Always slow down for animals and maintain a safe distance of 25m.
  • Off-road driving: Only allowed in designated areas for viewing big cats.
  • Wildlife viewing etiquette: Do not exceed 5 Safari vehicles at any sighting, and maintain a respectful distance.
  • Environmental responsibility: Littering is prohibited, and park entrance and exit times must be observed.
