Tour overview

The 5 days tour  takes you to the  4 major Tanzanian National parks  for your chance to see the big  5 family , from the worlds largest innactive volcano well known as the Ngorongoro crater to the endless plains of the famous serengeti National park, not forgeting the home land to africa’s largest jumbos ; Tarangire national park,Plus great accomodation options .

 

The Itinerary

Day 1:-Lake Manyara National park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by Amet adventure’s Safari driver guide, pick up and transfer to Lake Manyara national park with sightseeing on the way approximately 130 km. Arriving in time for lunch at the lodge/tented camp and after  a hot lunch and refreshing, we head into the Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. The Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife including large flocks of flamingos. We Spend the afternoon around the shallow soda lake which occupies two-thirds of the park at the foot of the great rift valley. After your tour around the breathtaking park, you will be transferred back to  Tarangire safari lodge or Alternative accommodation of similar standards.

Dinner and overnight on a full board basis.

Day 2: – Lake Manyara – Serengeti Plains

Today you will depart the lodge at 0700hrs and head to Serengeti National Park, passing by traditional Maasai villages arriving in Serengeti around noon to start off your game drive in the Endless Plains of the park for your chance to sport the big five. After your game drive in the late afternoon, you will be transferred  to your tented camp/lodge where you will be spending the night.

Day 3: – Serengeti National park

Depart from the camp and drive to Serengeti for another day of game viewing .today you have an option to enjoy a hot air balloon  (available at supplementary cost / pre-arranged). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.

Dinner and overnight in the Seronera area accommodation on a full board basis.

Day 4: – Serengeti National park – Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The Ngorongoro conservation area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants With a chance to stopover on your way at Olduvai Gorge, dating back to the archeological theory as the origin of Mankind.  It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. We arrive at the Ngorongoro crater and descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for the rest of the afternoon thereafter transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight on full board basis.

Day 5:– Tarangire National park then back to Moshi/Arusha

Breakfast at your lodge/camp and thereafter and depart with picnic lunch driving to Tarangire National Park to start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to  Kilimanjaro airport/hotel
