Our Booking Policy in light of COVID-19

As a safety-focused company, we are closely monitoring the news regarding the presence of the novel COVID-19 in the destinations where we operate and have therefore amended our approach to travel as necessary.

We recognize the change of times with the presence of the pandemic and the need to adopt new ways of doing things from safety measures to flexible terms in order to help you keep your travel dreams alive with agility and resilience on your journey to recovery.

Here are some important procedures that we have implemented to ensure your safety and peace of mind during your planning and while on travel in this new era.

1. Our Commitment to your well being
We have stepped up our safety and precaution measures in accordance with guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and as per relevant government regulations in areas that we operate within East Africa.

While on tour

Besides maintaining high standards on our customized luxury safari Jeeps the vehicles are sanitized before and after the tour daily for example; all the vehicle surfaces will be disinfected, this includes door handles, seats and seatbelts, armrests, and air- conditioning filters.
Hand sanitizers and extra breathing masks will be provided throughout the tour. Our people have gone through training on precaution measures and will ensure high standards of safety while on tour.

Reduced Vehicle capacity

We have lowered down the number of occupants from 7 to 4 occupants per car plus the driver in order to encourage our customers to practice social distancing.

Common sense measures
While we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of our clients and that of our staff members we are urging our clients to stick to hygiene practices recommended by the World Health Organization which includes; regular wash of hands with soap, sanitizing, wearing breathing masks and gloves while in public and avoid touching your face

  2. Freezed rates for 2022
    We will maintain the same rates for Clients booking for 2022 within 2021 we feel that this plan will go a long way in assisting our valued customers to realize their travel dreams during these volatile times.
  3. Existing bookings
    Clients willing to reschedule trips due to covid related travel restrictions can do so by notifying us at least 48 hours prior to the tour dates no cancellation fees will apply in this case. Clients willing to cancel trips can notify us in writing the following Policy shall apply.
  • Any Cancellation within 48hrs prior to arrival date there will be no cancellation charges, instead, we will hold Credit and clients can use the  money deposited to our account for a future tour with Amet adventures
  • Cancellation during travel as a result of covid related reasons; 50% credit will be held for any unused nights on tour for a future journey with Amet adventures.
