You will visit Amboseli national park famous for big elephant herds and a spectacular view of Kilimanjaro mountain. Walk among animals in Lake Naivasha Crescent Island and enjoy a boat ride before finishing the trip to Masai Mara famed for the big five and the wildebeest migration. Combined with 5 days on the beach.

The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kenya (The city of Nairobi)
You will fly into Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). After picking up your bags, our staff will meet and escort you to your hotel in Nairobi. You are free to relax at the hotel before dinner, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the guides for your trip.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Arrive in time for lunch, relax. Have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also, to be seen are the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river.

Day 3 and 4: Full days at Masai Mara National Reserve
You will spend these days exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara with an optional early morning balloon safari ride (US$490.00 per person) across the Masai Mara plain. Breakfast at the camp then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the Great Migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes, and enjoy yourselves!

Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
You will drive to Lake Naivasha, which is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. At 1910m (6200f), the water is fresh and the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptian once used this to make paper). Kingfishers use the papyrus as a perch; herons hide in it while searching for food. Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400species have been recorded). It is also a favorite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski, and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country’s fledgling wine industry.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed to Amboseli arriving in time for an en-route game drive to your lodge for hot lunch. Proceed with a game drive for the rest of the afternoon. During your short evening game drive, you will be searching for the big herds of the African Elephants, the cheetahs, Lions, the gazelles, and the Elusive Elands. If the weather permits, you will be able to have a magnificent view of the Kilimanjaro before retiring to your beautifully designed lodge, hidden among ancient baobab trees where you will be spending the night on the full board meal plan.

Day 7: Full Day at Amboseli National Park
Full-day exploration of the park. After breakfast depart to morning game drive. Transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. Embark for an afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner. You will be able to see the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, Big 5’s, and more than 400 bird species.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park – Mombasa
Enjoy breakfast and drive to Email for your morning train to Mombasa. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver who will escort you to your beach hotel.
Main destination: Mombasa beach

Day 9 -11: Leisure days
Breakfast at the Hotel and enjoy the days relaxing on the beach or by the pool, exploring the local village, or taking part in one of the many activities offered which you can arrange directly with the hotel (e.g. snorkeling, scuba diving, spa treatments, swimming with dolphins, etc.). Your stay at your premium accommodations includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 12: Departure or continue with other plans
Today we drive to Mombasa airport for your International flight back home or continue with other plans.
